We are a community of individuals from diverse backgrounds including Medical professionals, Entrepreneurs, Educators, Researchers and Technology professionals. We aspire to help America excel globally by innovation, entrepreneurship and technology transformation.<\/p>\n
Around 600,000 Indians are waiting for permanent residency in employment-based categories and may die before they receive their green cards. These insane wait times can be crushing for individuals and their families, forcing people to live in uncertainty for many years. US immigration puts an age-old 7% per country cap for immigrants, in speciality occupations, who are hired based on skills but are awarded green cards based on country of birth. Though more than 60% of immigrant workers in the USA today come from India only 7% of total green cards from employment-based categories are available to Indian origin applicants. This needs to be changed to make it fair.<\/p>\n
Our mission is to mobilize support for immigration policies that will keep American Dream achievable for Indian origin speciality workers for foreseeable future.<\/p>\n
